Susan Saenger graduated from Duke University in 1990 and Antioch New England Graduate School in 1996. She is a registered Dance/Movement Therapist and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Susan danced with Orts Theatre of Dance in Tucson, AZ from 1990-1993, performing the works of Anne Bunker, Gina Buntz, and Marla Simms, among others. She has studied the dance techniques of Graham, Cunningham, Limon, Hawkins and Dunham, and other movement disciplines including Tai Chi Chuan, Yoga, and Body-Mind Centering. Susan joined Choreo Collective in its fledgling year and has been deeply involved since, previously serving as treasurer and now as co-director. She has taught creative movement to children and used creative movement to help children with special needs express themselves. Susan has served on a committee of the American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA) for several years and is the current President of the Carolina Chapter of the ADTA. Susan is also the mother of two boys.

Caroline Williford is a North Carolina native, with dual residencies in the Triangle and the mountains of NC. A multi-layered artist, Caroline combines her lifelong studies of dance and visual arts through choreography, allowing the genres of photography, video and film to influence her work. She has been a member of Choreo Collective since 1998 and Co-director since 2004. She has shown her work throughout the Triangle area and North Carolina; in Brooklyn, NY; and in England. Her work has been performed with Choreo Collective and Five Chick Posse; on the NC Dance Festival statewide tour, at the ADF's Staff Showings, at LOOM2 & LOOM3 art shows in Pittsboro; and with Amy Beth Schneider/Thread Dance Theater and Suzanne Cantwell Birkin/Gravity's Angel. Her work was awarded in the Independent Weekly’s annual “Best of Dance” 2003 & 2004. Most recently, she has danced locally for Jess Shell, Susan Saenger and Anna Smith Milling and shown her work at Pinhook Arts. Caroline also serves as the Managing Director of the North Carolina Dance Alliance and is in her 10th year as archival Videographer for the American Dance Festival.
